To connect readers of Haute Time directly to watch retailers, the company has added a “Locate Watch” button on all of its watch review articles. After reading a review, or an article about a specific timepiece, the reader now has the ability to find that exact piece in a store near them.
In every watch review, there is a button that says “Locate Watch” at the bottom of the post. With a simple click of the button, Haute Time pulls up a listing of each boutique carrying that brand, starting with the nearest location. Haute Time not only provides a listing of the boutiques, but also includes images, maps, distance from the consumer, along with the boutique address, phone number and website.
“This amazing technology makes it possible for anyone reading the article to have instant access to your brand and authorized boutique to purchase the timepiece,” says Haute Time Publisher Seth Semilof. Co-publisher Kamal Hotchandani added, “Providing readers with a direct point of sale is a service that we think luxury watch connoisseurs will benefit from and find convenient.”
In January 2013, Haute Time will be launching a mobile app offering the same exact features.
